Stirling Ice Rink 18th of February 2011

 

Calum Macnee won the Points competiton on the night with a consistent display of curling to hold off a late challenge from Linsey Alison who kept the pressure on right up to the end.

QUIZ NIGHT

Quiz Night Saturday 19th March 2011 7.30 for 8.00pm start.

 

Sauchie & Bannockburn Curling and Stirling Wanderers Hockey Clubs would like to invite you to a fun filled and potentially even an educational evening at Stirling Cricket Club, Stirling Sports Village.

4 – 6 people in a team, bring your friends and family.  Joint fundraiser for both club funds. Cost: £2 per person

Who will be the ultimate winner – the strategic thinking curlers or the fast reacting hockey players??

A.G.M. Night Friday 13th May 2011 7.00pm start.

 

Sauchie & Bannockburn Curling Club had its AGM and prizegiving at the Cricket Club at Forth Bank, Stirling. Almost 30 people turned up to discuss the agenda and receive their well earned trophies and prizes. There followed a cheese and wine party hosted by the club to celebrate another successful season. The bar at the club was also available with Carol Anderson doing the honours.

 

As part of the proceedings, Rory MacKenzie stepped down as president and Calum MacNee took over the role and went on to oversee the completion of the night.

Hamilton 23rd October 2010

 

The Club played Ayr and Alloway at the Indoor Grand Match at Hamilton. The event included a meal after the match as well a traditional drink after four ends played. Unfortunately, the team did not win, but an enjoyalbe time was had by all.

 

The Sauchie and Bannockburn team was Dougie McKenzie (skip), Murray collins (third), Joe Kincaid (second) and Rory MacKenzie (lead).
