When taking part in the Points competition, it is possible to get a misleading view of how well everyone is doing, what is the highest scoring discipline, which rink is better than the other etc.
So to bring a bit of clarity, the results table has been submitted to some further analysis, not to identify the poor performers but to give an overall idea of how well the club members played and what level of success was achieved with each discipline. Outwick was not played due to lack of time.
Some of the key attributes of the play are highlighted below.
This time striking was the top discipline followed by drawing. Inwicking got a very good score, beating guarding, so maybe we are becoming a bit more technical and should adjust our playing style accordingly. Unfortunately, with three clubs playing together with 13 players taking part we only completed 6 disciplines in the time available. The analysis above only included our own club members.
