Rory MacKenzie (on the right of the picture) is presented with the Provost's Quaich by Calum MacNee, the president of the club.
The Provost's Quaich is presented to the most consistent player over the season and is quite an achievement. It certainly gives the secretary a headache every year calculating who has won. Rory tied for the prize over all but had won more games and so is a worthy winner.
The club had a good year in external competitions winning from left to right, Polmaise Trophy, Button Trophy, Alex Reid Memorial Trophy, Cairns Elder Trophy and the Dunn Cup.
The big rink trophy this year was the new format Corrieri Cup competition where the rinks played each other twice. Receiving the trophy from the President is Linsey Alison, the skip, with on left Bob Turner and right Derrick Douglas. Well played for winning five out of the six games in total.
